The Art & Technology Blekinge project is aimed at creating economic and cultural growth and the realization of new jobs in the province of Blekinge in southern Sweden by bringing in creativity, knowledge and passion from international free-thinking artists, designers and scientists in a wide range of collaboration projects with regional industry, research, education and cultural organizations.

The project started in April 2013 as a local project in Olofström and developed in 2015 into a regional project for the whole province of Blekinge. In 2015 the project was hosted by NetPort Science Park and supported by Region Blekinge, Sparbanken i Karlshamns Näringslivsstiftelse and Kyrkhults Sparbanks Utvecklingsstiftelse.

Art & Technology Blekinge included the well-known artist-in-residence project in the Nebbeboda skola just outside Olofström.

The project is aimed at intensive international collaboration with partners in Spain, Wales, Germany, Holland, Poland, Latvia, Denmark and Finland.

Other partners in the region were Cefur, Swedish Waterjet Lab, NetPort Science Park, Municipality of Ronneby, Karlskrona Makerspace, BBI Business Incubator, BTH Institute of Technology, Stans och Press, Eriksberg Vilt och Naturpark and Ingenjörsprojekt i Karlhamn.

The project introduced successful artist-in-factory projects at the industrial development centre IUC Olofström.
