In 2013 the Artist-in-Residence project in the Nebbeboda skola, just outside Olofström, was initiated to provide temporary living and working spaces for visiting artists and scientists.

For the young Harry Martinson, Swedish writer and Nobel laureate Literature 1974, the school offered light in the darkness around him.

  

In 2014 the building was renovated and in only one and a half year it changed into a meeting place for artists and designers from around the world and local and regional entrepreneurs, employees, students and general public.

The residence became our connection to ideas and knowledge from around the world to strengthen the local and regional culture and economy.

 

Unfortunately the residence is closed now.
