Simone Simonato is a fashion designer from Curitiba, Brazil.  

Simone has a Degree in Fashion (SENAI CIETEP PR 2006), BA in Graphic Design (UFPR 2009) and Master’s in Sustainability in Fashion (ESMOD Berlin 2013). 

Under her label SICA (since 2006), Simonato designs comfortable and versatile garments and accessories to an everyday urban style. 

SICA focuses on social responsibility, material choice and fair price in order to be a 

sustainable model. The brand develops local manufacturers and sources discarded and/or damaged materials and textiles to the designs. 

Currently, SICA has an important cause: Clipping Up – upcycled bags handcrafted from jersey waste in rural area of Bangladesh.
